Job Description
We're looking for a Reception Teacher with a passion for early years education to join a vibrant primary school in Coventry. This role offers the chance to guide young learners at the very start of their school journey, laying strong foundations through creative, structured teaching and care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in a nurturing, play-based setting
Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence
Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
Maintain strong relationships with parents and work closely with colleagues and support staff
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Desired Experience
+ Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
EYFS teaching experience
Strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework
Creativity, energy, and patience in delivering a varied and engaging curriculum
