Job Description
We’re hiring a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support classroom delivery in a well-regarded Oxford secondary school. You’ll supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-set work, and ensure pupils remain focused and on task. This role is perfect for aspiring teachers or experienced support staff seeking more responsibility without full planning duties. You may cover a range of subjects across KS3 and KS4, providing variety in your weekly schedule. A calm approach, good communication, and strong behaviour management are essential.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver lessons using teacher-prepared resources.
Maintain engagement and positive behaviour.
Support pupils with instructions and transitions.
Liaise with staff to ensure continuity of learning.
