Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate English Teacher to inspire pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role involves teaching literature and language with creativity, encouraging students to think critically and to express themselves with confidence. Lessons will be designed to challenge pupils while making content accessible and engaging. Assessment and tracking progress are central to the role, as is preparing students for GCSE examinations.

Beyond the classroom, you’ll be encouraged to support enrichment opportunities such as creative writing clubs, theatre trips, or debating societies. This role is ideal for an ambitious teacher who wants to combine academic excellence with fostering a love of English.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan schemes of work aligned with national standards.
Assess progress and prepare pupils for GCSE success.
Contribute to enrichment activities in English.
