Job Description
As a Secondary History Teacher, you’ll dive into the stories that shape our world—guiding students through impactful events, people, and movements. But this isn’t just about memorising dates. You'll help students connect the past to contemporary life, observe multiple perspectives, and think critically about evidence and influence. Covering KS3 and KS4, your creative lessons will include debates, investigative projects, and dynamic resources that spark curiosity and deepen understanding.
Beyond classroom teaching, you’ll prepare students for their GCSE exams through tailored interventions and extension work. You’ll also enrich the school’s history culture by leading clubs, organizing trips to museums or historical sites, and hosting themed events.
