Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Secondary Science Learning Mentor to support students in a thriving Coventry secondary school. This role blends classroom support, practical science assistance, and 1:1 mentoring — helping pupils develop both confidence and curiosity. You’ll assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring practical experiments run smoothly while keeping students on track and inspired. Whether it’s building understanding in chemistry or encouraging focus during lab work, your enthusiasm for science will spark student engagement and progress.
Job Responsibilities:
Support teachers in planning and delivering practical science sessions
Supervise and mentor students during lab activities
Prepare materials and equipment safely for experiments
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students needing extra help
