About the School

This Coventry academy has a strong STEM focus and is recognised by Ofsted as “Good” with outstanding features. The school benefits from recently refurbished science laboratories and cutting-edge technology, providing a high-quality environment for both staff and pupils. Science is a core strength here, with GCSE outcomes consistently above national averages and many students going on to pursue STEM pathways at college and university.

The school prides itself on combining academic rigour with inclusivity. Students from all backgrounds are encouraged to achieve their full potential, with staff working hard to ensure that lessons are accessible and engaging for every learner.

Staff development is also a priority – CPD programmes are well-structured, with leadership encouraging teachers to develop expertise and take on new responsibilities. The science department, in particular, is highly collaborative, offering peer coaching and shared planning.

Beyond the classroom, pupils engage in a wide range of extracurricular activities that bring science to life, from national competitions to community sustainability projects. This is an exciting environment for any teacher who wants to be part of a team that values curiosity, innovation, and excellence.
