Job Description

This role is ideal for a science teacher who wants to work in a forward-thinking secondary setting where curiosity, experimentation and real-world application are at the centre of learning. You’ll teach across KS3 and KS4 with the option to specialise based on your strengths in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. The school offers strong departmental resources, modern laboratory facilities, and opportunities to collaborate on STEM enrichment, clubs and cross-curricular projects. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues who value creativity and evidence-based teaching rather than box-ticking. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan practical experiments and support lab-based learning
Differentiate content for mixed-ability groups
Contribute to extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs
Work with the department on curriculum development

Desired Experience
+ Qualifications

QTS or PGCE in Secondary Science (or relevant subject)
Experience teaching KS3/KS4 in mainstream or academy settings
Strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
Passion for practical learning and pupil engagement
