Job Description

You’ll oversee pastoral support across a year group, ensuring pupils receive consistent guidance around behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement. You’ll coordinate interventions, support tutors and teachers with pastoral concerns, and liaise with families where appropriate. The role focuses on building positive relationships and creating clear support pathways that help pupils remain confident and focused on learning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead pastoral support and wellbeing strategies for pupils.
Coordinate behaviour and engagement interventions.
Support tutors and staff with pastoral guidance.
Liaise with families and external services where required.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience in pastoral or behaviour leadership roles.

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Ability to guide staff and manage pastoral systems.

  • Excellent safeguarding awareness and professional judgement.
