Job Description

Key Responsibilities :
Provide day-to-day classroom and behavioural support for students with SEMH needs
Assist in de-escalating challenging situations and fostering positive behavioural strategies
Support individual students in managing emotional regulation and accessing the curriculum
Work closely with the teaching team and external professionals to implement support plans
Encourage student engagement through patience, empathy, and active intervention
Use initiative and flexibility in managing the evolving needs of the classroom

Desired Experience
+ Qualifications

Proven experience in a SEMH or SEND school setting is essential
Demonstrated ability to remain calm, proactive, and supportive during crises
Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to build trusting relationships with students
