Job Description
Our Partnered School is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting the unique learning journey of an individual student.
As a SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you'll be an essential part of our inclusive educational community, offering tailored support to a specific student with SEND. Your role involves implementing individualised education plans, collaborating with teachers, and fostering an environment where the student can thrive academically and personally.
Embrace a collaborative approach, working closely with teachers, specialists, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Experience in providing 1:1 support to students with SEND is preferred.
An enhanced DBS check is mandatory for the safety and security of our students.
Any teaching or education qualifications would be an advantage

Our partnered school is a large special school that caters for pupils between the ages of 11 and 19 who have a range of special educational needs, such as speech, language and communication difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, social, emotional and mental health issues, and moderate or severe learning difficulties.
The school has been rated as good by Ofsted in its latest inspection in November 2022. The inspectors praised the school for its strong leadership, high-quality teaching, positive relationships, and inclusive culture.
