Job Description

We’re searching for a SEND Mentor to join a well-respected specialist school in Warwickshire, supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences. The role centres on building relationships that make learning accessible and enjoyable for every child. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver structured, creative, and therapeutic activities that promote independence and emotional regulation. Each day offers the opportunity to make a visible difference — whether through a successful transition, a breakthrough in communication, or a shared moment of achievement. Job Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group support tailored to pupils’ individual needs
Help develop communication, self-regulation, and daily living skills
Implement sensory and behavioural strategies with consistency and care
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in school or care settings
Empathetic and adaptable communication style
Understanding of autism spectrum conditions and regulation strategies
