Job Description
We’re looking for a SEND Support Specialist to join an exceptional all-through school in Solihull. The role involves working closely with pupils aged 7–16 who present with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and social or communication challenges. You’ll play a key role in helping learners access the curriculum through practical assistance, emotional regulation strategies, and patient one-to-one or small group support. The right person will bring empathy, structure, and strong communication skills — someone who can balance nurturing relationships with high expectations. Job Responsibilities:
Provide in-class and small group support tailored to each pupil’s needs
Use de-escalation and sensory strategies to promote positive engagement
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to deliver consistent plans
Model patience, empathy, and confidence in every interaction
