Job Description

This role is centred around supporting children with a range of SEND needs in a structured school setting. Working closely with class teachers and SEN specialists, you will provide targeted support to ensure every child has access to learning.

You’ll adapt materials, implement strategies, and provide both academic and emotional support to help learners overcome barriers. A key part of the role will involve building trust and positive relationships with pupils, enabling them to feel safe and ready to learn. The position requires patience, creativity, and resilience, as well as a genuine commitment to inclusive practice. This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to make a long-term impact in the lives of children with additional needs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Provide targeted one-to-one and group support for SEND pupils.

Adapt and modify classroom resources.

Implement behaviour and learning strategies.

Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff.
