Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEND Support Worker to join a dedicated team in a specialist SEND school in the CV2 area. This is a full-time, temporary role ideal for someone who thrives on supporting children with diverse and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
Assist with personalised learning plans under the guidance of teaching and therapy staff.
Deliver personal care with sensitivity and respect where required.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and report pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
Desired Experience
+ Qualifications
Previous experience in a SEND environment is essential.
Strong understanding of SEND and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Comfortable providing personal care when needed.
Empathetic, patient, and committed to inclusive education.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
