Job Description

This SEND Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to make a direct impact on pupils with additional needs. You’ll work closely with students one-to-one or in small groups, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop essential skills for life. Whether it’s supporting a child with autism through structured routines or assisting with literacy interventions, your presence will make a meaningful difference each day.

You’ll collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure strategies are personalised and effective. Beyond academic support, you’ll play a central role in emotional wellbeing, offering encouragement and consistency in a setting where pupils thrive on stability.

This is a role for someone who is patient, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about inclusion. You’ll leave each day knowing your work has contributed to a child’s progress and self-belief.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Support individual pupils with tailored interventions.

Help adapt classroom resources for SEND access.

Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction.

Provide feedback to teachers and SENCOs.
