Job Description
A primary setting in Coventry (CV2) is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 or small‑group with children who have SEMH, autism and physical disabilities. You’ll bring experience from education or care, use your strong understanding of SEND and SEMH to support children across a range of ages, and help them access the national curriculum successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to pupils with SEND/SEMH, autism and physical disabilities
Work with class teachers and specialists to adapt resources and learning approaches
Create a positive, nurturing environment that builds confidence and independence
Help protect access to the national curriculum through differentiated strategies
Monitor progress, communicate clearly with colleagues and support inclusive practice
