Job Description

A primary school in Longbridge is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant with experience within education or care, comfortable supporting a range of ages and different needs, and ready to help ensure all pupils access the national curriculum confidently.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND, both one‑to‑one and in small groups
Collaborate with class teachers to adapt resources and classroom approaches
Create a positive, inclusive environment that supports social and academic growth
Support pupils across a variety of needs and ages and foster independence
Assist with access to the national curriculum through differentiated learning

Desired Experience

Experience working with children with SEND in an education or care setting
Understanding of the national curriculum and methods for differentiated access
A proactive, caring and dependable practitioner dedicated to inclusion
Strong communication skills, team‑working mindset and adaptability
