Job Description
A primary school in Oxford (OX4 4DU) is looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children with SEND and SEMH. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with pupils who have a range of needs, including physical disabilities, and will support both 1:1 and small‑group learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEND and SEMH, including physical and learning disabilities
Adapt learning resources and support classroom access for all pupils
Build positive relationships, promote independence and help pupils engage in the learning process
Work alongside teachers and support staff to monitor progress and ensure pupils access the curriculum
