Job Description
We are seeking two passionate and resilient SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people diagnosed with autism in a High Dependency Unit. Your day will involve working on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping to implement teaching using strategies such as ABA and PECS, and taking an active role in creating a structured and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching and learning for pupils with autism
Plan and deliver structured sessions, including using ABA and PECS methods
Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to student needs
Manage and organise workload independently within a team setting
Collaborate closely with other professionals to support pupil progress
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children is essential
Experience with autism support and special education is highly desirable
Familiarity with ABA and PECS is beneficial
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach
Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues
