Job Description
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We’re seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in the CV7 area that specialises in providing exceptional support for students with Autism and other additional needs. Your role will include one-to-one and small group support, assisting with personal care, and creating a safe, nurturing environment for all learners.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily learning and developmental support to students
Work collaboratively with class teachers to deliver lessons and activities
Offer one-to-one and small group assistance, guiding students with classwork and personal development
Assist with personal care and medical needs when required
Continuously assess and report students’ progress
Foster a positive environment that prioritises emotional and social development
Desired Experience
+ Qualifications
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
Previous experience working with children or adults with additional needs
Relevant qualifications in education or teaching support
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
