Job Description
As a Year 6 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the futures of your pupils, ensuring they leave primary school confident, capable, and ready for what’s next. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Upper KS2 curriculum, with a particular focus on exam preparation and transition to secondary school.
Inspiring a love for learning, helping pupils achieve their potential in a nurturing yet ambitious environment.
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Supporting pupils’ personal development, boosting their confidence, resilience, and readiness for secondary education.
Collaborating with a supportive team to share best practices and ensure every child thrives.

We’re looking for a teacher with:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this role.
Experience teaching Upper KS2, with a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and exam requirements.
A passion for helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
