Here’s What’s Possible with Sensory Street at

Nechells E-ACT Primary School

Thanks again for exploring Sensory Street with us. Here you'll find everything you and your team need to move forward - including a condensed version of the Sensory Street brochure, feedback from schools already using the circuits, and a form for you to process your circuit order.

Sensory Street circuits offer an easy way to build purposeful movement into the school day - on the way to class, during transitions, or when pupils need a reset. They’re flexible, inclusive, and designed to enhance what’s already working well in your setting.

FAQs

Do we install the pathway ourselves?

Yes. We will provide you with several helpful resources to make the process easy. These include an Installation Guide, Movement Map and Training Video (supplementary cost). Additionally, as your point of contact, I am available to support you every step of the way, whether that be on the telephone or in person.

When will we receive our Pathway?

Our order deadline of Wednesday this week is so that we can aim to deliver all pathway orders for Titan Schools before Whitsun half-term, therefore affording the option of installation during the school holiday, should you wish.

How long does delivery take?

Your sensory pathway can arrive in as little as 10 working days once your design is approved. We'll keep you updated throughout production and delivery.

How do we maintain our Sensory Street circuit?

Keep your pathway clean and dry using a damp microfibre cloth and warm water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive abrasion. If storing vinyls before use, do not fold them. Sun exposure may cause fading over time, and once removed, vinyls cannot be reused.

Are the circuits suitable for children with additional needs?

Absolutely. Sensory Street circuits were developed by autism experts, SEND advisors, and paediatric professionals. They provide structured, multi-sensory experiences that benefit all learners, especially those with SEND.

Can I install our pathway on floors and/or walls?

Absolutely! Our Sensory Pathways are designed for floors and walls and contain a mix of images for both. Be sure to tick the appropriate floor type box on your order, as we use different adhesive for carpet and non-carpet flooring.

What surfaces are suitable for installing a Sensory Street pathway?

Our pathways adhere best to smooth, clean indoor surfaces such as sealed wood, ceramic tile, marble, vinyl, or concrete. Avoid placing graphics on chipped, cracked, or textured surfaces, or walls with wallpaper, matte, latex, or silicon-based paints. We recommend checking surface compatibility and cleaning thoroughly with a pH-neutral cleaner before installation.

What if we want something more personalised?

We offer a bespoke design service, allowing you to tailor colours, themes, and layouts to your school's brand or pupil needs. Simply get in touch with your vision, and we'll work with you to create your perfect pathway.

What are the sensory benefits for pupils?

Each movement is designed to support proprioceptive and vestibular input, improving body awareness, coordination, emotional regulation, and readiness to learn. Activities like crawling, hopping, balancing, and pushing help pupils improve concentration, reduce stress, and regulate behaviour.

What if we want something outdoors?

We also offer outdoor circuits made from durable wall plaques, perfect for playgrounds, sensory gardens, and accessible spaces. Weatherproof and designed for longevity, these are a fantastic addition to any outdoor area.

Do you provide outdoor options?

Yes, we do. Our outdoor, weatherproof options are extremely popular. If you are interested in finding out more about these and/or additional indoor pathways, you can also access exclusive discounts for Titan Partnership Schools.

Can I remove the pathway later?

Yes, the vinyls can be removed using a low heat source like a heat gun or hair dryer. Please note, due to the high tack adhesive, removal may cause some surface damage (e.g., paint delamination or plaster tears). Any leftover adhesive can be cleaned with warm soapy water.

Do you offer training on how to use the circuits effectively?

Yes, we do. We recommend our bolt-on Sensory Circuit Training session, which supports staff in using the circuits consistently across the school and helps maximise sensory integration benefits.

Where's the best place to install a Sensory Street pathway?

Popular areas include school hallways, linking corridors, resource units, therapy rooms, and shared spaces. These are ideal for regular use and support inclusion, transitions, and emotional regulation.
